My journey into photography
My journey into photography began early, as I admired my father’s cameras, though I was never allowed to use them. In my teenage years, I watched friends capture impressive shots with their DSLRs, and my desire to create such moments grew. At 16, I got my first camera, but the real turning point came in 2016 when my wife bought a Micro Four Thirds camera. The new technical features made it easy to shoot manually, and this sparked my interest. Shortly after, I bought my Lumix GX80, which has accompanied me on many trips.
During the pandemic, I developed a deeper connection with photography. Daily walks in the early morning, when the world was just waking up, became a true source of inspiration. It was in those quiet moments, when nature was still, that I found fascination. With my camera in hand, I discovered a unique sense of tranquility—and I realized that these experiences meant more to me than simply sharing the images online.
That morning stillness now defines not only my photography but also my editing style. I use soft, muted tones and balanced compositions to reflect the serenity and harmony I seek in every shot. My color style leans towards earthy and neutral palettes, with subtle greens, blues, and warm tones that create a timeless, calming atmosphere. These colors are intentionally chosen to enhance the feeling of quiet and reflection in my images. What draws me to photography is the ability to preserve these unspectacular, yet deeply meaningful moments forever. For me, it’s less about drama and more about capturing and experiencing calm—the kind of stillness you find only in the early morning or in quiet moments in nature. These experiences, along with my minimalistic and timeless approach to color, shape every shot and define my unique style.
